Background: Vash is a misery guy who grew up in a harsh environment. His parents abandoned him as a child and he grew up on the streets where he became a tough fighter. He doesn't like to fight and prefers peace, and he's more than willing to enforce that peace through violence. ((ah~Austria and Swiss should totally be childhood friends, right? right?)) After he managed to finally get off the streets he found a girl that he would later adopt as his little sister ((-blows a kiss to waifu-)) and he vowed to protect her always.
Vash grew up pretty happy with his parents. He was neighbors with Roderich up until the time they were nine (?) when the other moved away with his family. Soon after his parents died in a car accident, and Vash spent the next five years being bounced from relative to relative who tired to spend all of his inheritance. This would often cause fights...and they would sometimes turn physical. He finally went and sought legal guidance and got placed into foster care, and his new foster parents helped him regain his mostly spent inheritance. He has been working hard to restore it. ((more later once I talk with the Liech RPer))
