[Adrienne, Mathias, & Sadiq] Exploring We Shall Go III!

Adrienne spotted the slightly out of place bar within the lower level of the mall. It was off to the side and was just under ten minutes from outside of the mall. It seemed like an older style place, with larger windows and wood stylings. It had pieces of memorabilia along the walls from different sports and travels.

Stepping closer, she peered into the window and had dragged Mathias along with her. "Mathias, how about this place... it looks decent enough and it doesn't seem overly crowded but very a local watering hole". It was also a bit closer to the academy, and in her book, that was a good thing and bad thing.

Adrienne paused for the moment, and smiled at him, tugging on his hand to get his attention

"Ah--you wanna try this place, Adri? Let's go then!" he held the door open and waved her in, "After you~"

[Sadiq Adnan]

Sadiq had come to the place by recommendation from a man at a nearby gas station, and so far it wasn't exactly what the man had bragged about. It was a decent place, but it was one of those chill bars where you start out your night. This wasn't exactly somewhere to go wild and cut loose. He had been hoping for something a bit more exciting. Ah well, there was an appeal to this place. And maybe he just needed to wait for the night crowd to see the pulse come to life.

Tapping his sunglasses against the bar, Sadiq took another shot of some drink that the bartender had claimed was strong. Another disappointment. "I never thought the day would come when I would miss ouzo..." He sighed ruefully, and retrieved a cigarette from his pocket, lighting up even when he saw a woman two seats down wrinkle her nose. Whatever, she could move if she had a problem. Taking a long drag, Sadiq exhaled slowly, wondering if he should just go home. He had stuff to prepare for the coming classes anyway, and although the atmosphere was relaxing he wasn't used to just sitting at a bar doing nothing. Felt unnatural.

Smiling as she first walked in and wrinkled her nose, she had to get used to the heavy scent in the bar. It was a while before she would be able to handle it. Moving through the crowd with Mathias behind her, she moved up to the bar and spotted two seats next to the taller man.

"This will be our last stop, than we can get back to the school and to our rooms. We will be needing to make sure that everything is ready for Monday. It will come fast" Adrienne said, motion for the bartender to bring her Sidecar.

He settled in next to her and considered all of what they had to offer before ordering a simple beer.
"Ah...it's already that time...." he said with a slight sigh, "Well--they shouldn't be that hard to manage. Young and stuff as they are....right?"
He was slightly tipsy from the sake and his words weren't making much sense to himself.

Adrienne raised an eyebrow as well as could, being tipsy herself. "Young, and probably ready to see how far they can test us... boarding school kids did it all the time"

"Managing will be easier, you got height and build on you. I got a voice and scary heels"
she continued to speak, sipping her sidecar, and downing it almost in one go. At this point, she poked his arm. "What is a good... beer to try?

Adrienne looked at the man who was sitting near them, she thought he looked oddly familiar. Very familiar actually.

"Beer of course is always good!"
He looked across her to where her eye sight was going, "Know him or something?"

She leaned over to the bartender and asked him for a beer he thought would be good, and asked for two. The beers were in front of them in just under a few minutes and she looked at him, nodding.

"He looks like someone I saw earlier this week, I wonder if it is him... if so, than he would be one of our fellow teachers" Adrienne said, moving to take a sip of her beer, enjoying the taste on her tastebuds and surprised at how smoothly it went down. It was something of a taste that she could get used to.

Sadiq was just beginning to wonder if he had seen the woman near him before when he heard her voice. Surely it was that girl he had met in the gardens a day or two ago. She was with another guy, perhaps a fellow teacher of the school. He grinned as he turned to the two, a knowing expression on his face, "Well well well, if it isn't the gardener! Fancy seein' you here! Bar hoppin', are ya? Dun tell me ya got a guy already! Wouldn't be surprised, mind ya, what with yer lovely face."

Adrienne felt a smile light up on her face in recognition of the man in front of her. "It is you! A pleasure to see you again! I could say the same to you!" she said happily enough, making a waving motion to come closer and sit with her and Mathias.

"Not really bar hopping, just trying to get the lay of the land, err, he's one of our fellow teachers actually!" she said cursing the fact that she was easily able to blush and quickly took a sip, well more of a gulp from her beer. She was enjoying the taste of the beer, it was quite delicious.

"Are you bar hoping? Oh Mathias, meet Sadiq Adnan, Sadiq meet Mathias Kohler! We're going to be each others coworkers from here on out! You excited?"
